To any Minecrafters it may concern:

There has been a catastrophic error on the server. I don’t know how it happened, but, yesterday at some point, everything disappeared. Wick15 is aware that it wasn’t working last night despite the fact that it had been working earlier in the day. Well it turns out it wasn’t working because the majority of the server files had disappeared somehow, including the world file.

As I said, I don’t know how it happened and there doesn’t seem to be anything I can do about it - even the backup I periodically changes is of the new world. As the support guy said; it’s like somebody went in and deleted the files. Needless to say, I’m pretty pissed off, as not only has the entire fucking world gone up in smoke, but I also have to set up the whole server again, as the mods and plugins have all disappeared, leaving me to re-download and reconfigure everything. And I can’t even start doing that until they bother to fix my FTP access.

So we’re starting again. I’m sorry for the inconvenience, the loss of all that work and the wasting of all the time you spent doing it, but there’s nothing I can do and you can rest assured that my eyes are glowing red with vengeful anger.

If Art of War don’t sort themselves out or if something like this happens again I’ll be finding another host. As it is, I’ve just paid for 3 months worth of server (with a couple of greatly appreciated donations to help, too) and it took me overdrawn, so it’s cost more than the price for 3 months thanks to unauthorised overdraft charges, so I’m not going to throw that away by moving somewhere else right now. 

TL;DR Unknown bug/error/hacking has resulted in the entire world being destroyed, as well as all the server files. I have to re-configure it all, which I’ll do as soon as I have FTP access. For now, feel free to play on the new map in vanilla, we’ll be keeping it until the Adventure update releases, at which point I’ll poll you all.
